Dr. Sombo Muzata is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PAIR, where she provides strategic and academic leadership across the institute’s research, training, and publishing initiatives. Experience
As CEO of PAIR, Dr. Muzata leads the institute’s core academic and research agenda. She oversees the design and implementation of research training programs, ensuring scholars receive the support needed to excel in their fields.
She also plays a pivotal role in building and sustaining partnerships with universities and research institutions, fostering collaboration that enhances knowledge exchange. In addition, she manages editorial and publishing platforms, supporting the dissemination of high-quality research outputs.

Education
Dr. Muzata holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Policy and Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, USA. She also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University.
In addition to her academic qualifications, she is a trained Chartered Accountant with certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She further strengthened her executive leadership capacity through advanced training at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School.
